One of my Asuras from Guild Wars 2.

Working on style. Looking for advice.

This looks good.

As for advice, it's stylistically more common to have lines (such as the ends of the nose and mouth) end in a taper instead of your round, faded edge. There's nothing wrong with your current convention, but I'd consider trying it, since it gives a slightly cleaner look. I'd also consider extending the eye-white to fit the full eye.

That aside, I like your style. It's clean and smooth. You capitalize well on geometric figures, but also keep your freehand curves gradual. It works doubly well because the smoothness of the facial features emphasizes the contrasting scruffiness of his hair. I hope to see more.

Taper? What?

That is the full eye, I just closer the loop.

What do you mean by "free hand curves"?

Taper: having the line of the mouth thin out to a point on the ends.

I'd suggest that you consider changing the color of skin in the bag around his eye. Maybe use the lighter color from insider his ears or take it a shade darker than usual.

By free hand curves, I just meant your general lineart, mostly meaning that the chin and ears don't have any harsh curves. It's well done.

Oh yeah, I thought about doing that but I didn't realize at the time I could.

I'm not sure how to do that. (I use a combination of vectors and rasters)

My reference was more of a trace. I traced over an image. ([link])

Thanks for your comment :)
